  I went here because I heard Marianna taught dental at HACC, so I thought she was going to be good. Well, I was wrong. After my first exam with her was told I needed a filling. Made the appointment, came back in. The dental assistant was in the room with me while I was waiting on the chair to get tooth filled. She seemed like she really would rather be doing something else, so I stopped talking. Marianna came in, and asked if I wanted the white or silver filling. I had done no research on the differences, so I asked. Marianna said "the silver is stronger and will last longer". I just accepted and on went the drilling. She drilled and I immediately felt the pain. She stopped and gave me another shot. Drilled again and was ok for a minute, then I felt pain again. Another shot. This time no pain, but she was drilling for a good 10-15 minutes. I thought my entire tooth was going to be gone. After she was done, I went home. I got up close and looked in the mirror, and what was left of my tooth was basically non existent (probably 10% tooth, 90% silver filling). Completely silver and a little dark colored tooth. I had tooth sensitivity from the get-go. I cant even drink room temperature water on the side of my mouth, because it will trigger sharp pain from the filled tooth. After a year, this is still happening, and now I can actually move the filling with my finger if I push on it. I have an appointment with another dentist of course, to remove the filling and replace it with safer composite white filling, that doesnt leak mercury, which I was not told about when I asked about differences between the fillings. Marianna did a horrible job filling the tooth, she rushed through the filling because she mentioned that she had to "run errands", and didnt explain the impacts silver fillings can have on the body. Please go to a better dentist if you dont want the same bad experience I had.
